Arteles is a non-profit organization developing creativity, art and culture.
Overview
Arteles
combines the fields of creativity into interdisciplinary and functional equations. The operational focus centralizes to creative productions & education and to international creative center & residency activity.
In Arteles the main principle in creating change is the ability to recur and reinvent.
Courage to dream and to see things from new perspectives. These elements build a base for creative processes and more colorful future scene. Art and creativity do not know any boundaries. They have the strenght to reveal the truth and set the course of the future.
Association
The association develops the quality, role and status of art and culture in Finland by organizing and creating platforms, events and opportunities for Finnish and foreign artists. The cultural activities are taking place on both, professional and non-professional fields.
One of the basic goals for the association is to enable art production and activities in every single social level from amateurs to professionals. The aims are realized through different initiatives and programs emphasis being on community based projects and networking.
The association runs one of the biggest international residency centers in Finland, organizes cultural meetings, discussions and events and realizes educational, research and editorial activities. It functions as well as an active organizational part for art exhibitions, theater projects and other culture related events.
Arteles association collaborates actively with other cultural actors, organizations and associations and supports notable creative and artistic actions.
Funding
The association is primarily funded by cultural support and fund raising. Other funds are gained for example from organizing different kinds of events such as concerts, talks and courses, through sponsorships and grant institutions and by collecting the yearly membership fees. |
