But where does it go? Pierre Teilhard de Cardin brings up that because human nature cannot be predicted humans still have the freedom to choose their destiny. Optimistic or pessimistic, a human must believe in their possiblities. Rounder / kiertelijä is an ensemble of four events connected to trans-nomadism, collectivism and neo-liberalism. During a concentrated period of 3 days, a selected audience is invited to join the talks and actions at Arteles, the Gallery Rajatila and the internet. Happening will take place on a raft at Lake Parila (near Arteles Creative Center). Satellite Platform Satellite Platform is a presentation format where the presenters often come from backgrounds of art and creativity. Each person has 15 minutes to talk before the next presenter. Every platform has an open theme set by the current event organizers and in May the theme is: We <3 Institutions! The concept of Satellite Platform was defined by a group of visual artists and curators in 2010 in Finland. It grows from the need to change and activate how we communicate about art and creativity. May Satellite Platform is organized in collaboration with Arteles, Gallery Rajatila and the Arts Council of Pirkanmaa. |
